This is how I wear my....

Well every time I try the different way but most of the time I start like this

But the end result is always something like this

Sometimes lace on the side

And sometimes half lace showing to get a different look

Next time you should try the same way and I bet you will be happy like me:-) Don't take me word for it, just try it and see:-)

I love taklu kids - it would be so cute if they stayed bald a bit longer - no hassle of caring for their hair as well!

These were very interesting posts. I had never heard of Mundan before, so learned something new today. Had to do a bit of Googling. My first impression was that it seemed rather sad to cut off a little girl's hair. But she seems happy enough in the photos and it will grow back.

i2w: not sure about the scientific reason for mundane but they say after taklu you suppose to get thick hair..

rohini::-)

kalpana: thanks:-)

Asha: I did it myself too but with the razor cuz they get scared with the machine noise.. I did A’s when he was a baby & then I used to put his bath tub on the sink counter.. He was looking in the mirror while I gave him hair cut so it was easy but she got in the regular bath tub and started to get irritated after few minutes.. It was a bit tough with her..

Keshi: thanks:-)

Alan: ohh I was very sad too and that was the reason I was delaying it otherwise we do mundane after their first dusera.. During her first dusera I was in India and didn’t want to do it there so now I had too.. can’t wait to see her in ponytail;-)

Deepa:thanks:-)

@: Well after the hair cut they do look like twins:-)

Orchid: :-) yup, u r right:-)
